I love how the slats are spaced just enough to let water drain quickly, so the mat never feels soggy. The natural wood grain adds a nice warm touch to my bathroom that a standard rug just couldn't match.

The beech wood feels surprisingly smooth underfoot, no splinters at all, and it dries instantly instead of staying damp like fabric. It's a bit of a splurge, but the craftsmanship is obvious and it warms up the bathroom way more than I expected.

I swapped out a soggy fabric mat for this beech wood one and it's a huge upgrade, no more damp smell after showers. The slats drain water fast and it feels warm underfoot instead of cold like tile. Sustainably made was a nice bonus too.
