The velour side is incredibly soft against my skin, and the organic cotton makes it feel much more substantial than my old beach towels. It dried off my kids quickly after their swim and still looks great after a few washes.

The velour side is so luxuriously soft that I actually prefer using it as a cozy blanket on cooler days. Dries me off quickly after a swim without feeling scratchy at all.

The stripes are nice and the cotton feels decent, though the towel seems thinner than I expected for the price. It dries me off okay after a swim, but I wish the velour was plusher on that one side.
